.....Well, two of my three kids are now ready to graduate from thier 90cc quads up to the reliable tame TRX 250's. It's to the point now that my ten your old son rides mom's quad more than his 90. Simply because his 90 won't go to where he and I like to go.

.....My question is can I stand the 250's up for travel and storage? Who of you has one and does this? Any thing I need to do or do I just shut off the petcock and lift it up?. I used to stand my wife's TRX400 all the time with zero issues.

Thanks, FD

Here's a topic that touched on this for all quads.

I would think there would be less issues with the TRX250 since you don't have to worry about coolant. I would make sure the cap is on good and pinch the vent hose and you should be good to go. I would just let it sit for a little while before you start it once you get to your destination and have set it back down on all fours. I might have to do this with my son's if I don't sell my Full Throttle by the first desert trip.

BTW
What's the price that your getting from your dealer? I just picked one up for my son on Friday and paid $3936 out the door for an 07'.

I stood up my 2002 250EX with no issues. Just make sure the gas tank isn't full....
