Not sure on the spelling but looking for some info on the canal road from buttercup to Aguadonas

Does the canal road that goes from buttercup to the asphalt parking lot near the Aguadonas border ever actually pass thru mexico?

Is it legal to travel via buggy and park in the parking lot at the Aguadonas border entry. Set aside the buggy security issue

I've parked my buggy there a few times during the day and walked across into Aguadonas and never had any problems. However, I'm planning the next full moon trip and might end up heading down there late afternoon. Group peer pressure will probabaly convience me to stay until well after dark. Any insight would be appreciated.

I thought you were talking about some prissy river girls at first - you know Aqua-donas wink.gif

Algodones though is another story!

I've never taken the canal road but I'm told it's the only legal way to get to the parking lot since it dosn't cross the border and crossing anywhere other than an official crossing is illegal.

There are a few other posts on here from people who have made the teck - you may want to do a search and see what they have to say.

Personally I've yet to try it but from what I hear taking the canal road is allowed.

Haven't done that in years. Couldn't tell you what current conditions are now.
