I know this has been discussed before, I'm looking for new ideas.

My powder coat is getting dull in some spots, I tried polishing compound, and rubbing compound. It helped restore some of the shine, I will also follow up with a wax.

Anyone have any hints about how to restore that show room condition?

What has always worked for me, is to not worry about it!

That car is meant to be flogged, don't worry about the car show. icon_biggrin.gif

I used some leftover Honda plastic polish from when I had my street bike. Basically the same as Plexus plastic polish. Kinda like furniture polish as it dusts and shines in one easy step!
At least for those of us that only give half a shiat about the shine!

Dont follow behind Pat....and never let me lead with my big ol tires!!! I have a system I use and sell;

5973 3m compound
5928 finesse polish
#6 Meguires or Mothers cleaner/wax

A small 3" pad system attached to a drill motor or small buffer makes for a quick painless 30 minute or less detail job,like new results. Ide be happy to bring out a kit to your next weekday run.Pat can do the labor since he probably caused the damage 15.gif
