i've got an ALBA on my 07. It's my second time putting an ALBA on a 450, last one was an 05... Gave the bike the wake up call of a life time, also set off all the car alarms on my street

I know I am a broken Record, I say the NMotion.
I have ridden the ESR, Dr. D, Alba, GP, and NMotion. NOTHING pulls from top to bottom like the NMotion!
Downside is the loudness. But they make Quiet Cores for that without losing power. If you are really worried about noise, I would try the Rossier Pipe. +1 HP on the top end than the NMotion, but less in the mid range.
Just My Opinion.
(PS: The winner of FSW in Pismo Stock Bore class had a NMotion!)

I STRONGLY agree with PDR! Went out this past weekend (Johnson Valley, went to a dry lake bed and drag raced quite a few times. I raced a YFZ450 with all GYTR exhaust. SPanked it by two bike length's right off the line every single time except when I took off in third once (opps got excited) we made about 15 pases. The Nmotion quality is awesome. it has 3 sections, head, mid, and silencer, WHich are all stepped (very important feature in exhaust piping) I did alot of research looking into pipes. Id highly recommend Nmotion. The stainless steal piping fitted perfect, took me all of 10 minutes to install (if mechanically inclined). Alba is cheaper, but so is the quality. I looked at every pipe at the sand sports expo they had and wasnt impressed. I have also done the cam mod and i believe that also helped. I love the sounds and response of my pipe. I've ridden several other 450's and doesnt have the same kick in the pants. Im actually going to add another tooth on my sprocket because I top out very quick. I am soon going to add FCI intake. Talk to PDR, he'll take good care of you. Very nice guy. here are some pics

All of these pipes listed are excellent pipes, and within 1 (maybe 2) HP of each other. Me personally when HP claims are that close I care more about quality. Get the pipe with the best fit and finish. Peak HP shown on dyno graphs (easily found all over the internet) is just eye candy man. In reality its better to have more usable power under the whole curve anyway. If money is no option check out some of the carbon fiber/ Titanium pipes......top quality pipes right there. Here is a couple.

Thats the thing aobut the NMotion pipe that I love. All pipes are within a few HP up top. But the NMotion has a considerable amount of power in the mid range over the other pipes. While, the NMotion Was 1 HP less than the ESR or Rossier, it had 5-6HP more at 5000-6500 RPM. (There was one bike that made 11HP more at that RPM range, but I consider that a fluke)
The NMotion is the BEST all around pipe I have tested!
Thanks Steve for the review. I am glad you are happy with the pipe. Wait till you get the intake!!!!!!

http://www.hmfengineering.com/index.php?ca...p;searchby=pipeSame here. No complaints at all on the power, but I dont think it's much of a looker. I like the look and quality of a ceramic coated header and carbon fiber cans.

NMotion does make a quality looking pipe. Ive never ridden one, but if they pull that hard then that is the ticket for sure.
What ever happened to that 6'' or 8'' billet can they used to make?

You can get the NMotion pipe in a 9" or 12" can. The 12" can is a little quieter. NMotion also offers quiet cores if the pipe is unbearable to you.

I myself have ridden stock, GYTR packages, full Yoshi pipe, with intake quads. IMO Nmotion is the best out of those I've ridden. The quality is top notch, only reason to go to titanium or carbon fiber is for the very last ounce you can shave in weight. if your going to go that way, Id recommend a full titanium bolt kit which ranges in the $100 range... loose .15 ounces.... or you could cut back at lunch. Im very happy with my choice. PM PDR.
