The next Desert Advisory Council meeting is coming up at the end of June and according to Roy Denner we need to be there for Saturday's meeting.
Some changes in the council members and the RAMP are two good reasons but I also intend to bring up the Deftones trash situation. Oh, and I'm sure more than a few people will have something to say about the increase in fees/business plan.
It's being held in Riverside and since we live in Corona, we're thinking of having a "wind-down" pizza dinner after the meeting.
I don't have the details on the field tour yet, but I'll post it when I get it.

It kind of sounds like this might be a good one to have a crowd show up.

So which day and time would be the best to get a "crowd" to be present?

Saturday's meeting is when the public will have the most opportunity to speak, so Saturday's the day we should all be there in force.
The agenda isn't usually posted until the very last minute, but I'll see what I can do about getting at least the preliminary agenda ahead of time.

One of the things being talked about at Saturday's DAC meeting is the business plan being written for Glamis and other areas. THIS is something we need to get involved in. There will be other interesting topics discussed too, but this one in particular hits us square in the wallet.
A show of force is definitely in order. Let's show them who really cares about the Imperial Dunes.
Afterwards, we'll find a pizza joint and celebrate
