I am new to this website and forum, but not new to Glamis. It's so nice to see how everyone shares the same passion of riding and riding in Glamis. After a summer at the river, I am so ready to shred the dunes once again!! My first trip will be the weekend right after Halloween (Nov 3rd I believe) and I can't wait. My fiancé and I both ride CRF450 dirtbikes and we also love to ride the desert (Ocotillo Wells,Red Rock/Dove Springs) and at motocross tracks. We just purchased a few months ago a Rhino, which I can't wait to take into the dunes! I saw so many of those things out in Glamis last season and I just had to have one!!Occasionally, we ride at Dumont Dunes or head up north to ride the Oregon sand dunes. Everyone seems to have built up friendships in this forum and that's what I am looking to do, meet people who absolutely love what I love to do: RIDE!!! Hopefully this season I will get to ride with some of you.

I love my 450!!! I just put White Brothers exhaust on it and took it out to the track and tested it out and man it's even more powerful! Do you currently have a bike? I rode a 250 two stroke before. I have always ridden 2-stokes and after riding a 4-stroke I fell in love!

Lookin forward to this weekend. This will be my 4th trip of the season Fell in love with the night rides. Fireballsocal is gonna let me try his. I believe it is a 250 frame with the 500 in it. We will see how that goes It would be great to meet and go for a ride.

Hi YZGirl! I used to ride an 02 CR250! I have always ridden 2-strokes. I just switched to 4-strokes this last glamis season. Do you ride track?

Montana girl is starting out small on two wheels. She rips it up on her bored ltz400 quad so this little two smoke should be no problem.

Hello Fireball! When is the next gathering?

We have a big one this weekend, then Veterans weekend is a big event going on and Thanksgiving after that.

I ride on 02 YZ250. I've always had 2 strokes. Lots of people tell me I should try a 450, but I am not sure how I will like riding a four stroke. Hmm? Maybe I should try it sometime. Anyway, I don't ride track, just out in the desert. I am dying to get out there because I haven't rode in over a year! I have a 5 month old baby, so I had to take some time off. I will be in Glamis the weekend before Halloween.

WOW! Already your 4th trip! I am so jealous : - ) During the Summer I mostly go to the river, I still ride all the time, but at the motocross tracks. I will be able to go on night rides now because I will have a Rhino this season! I rode my dirtbike before at night, I strapped a flashlight to the front fender, but that didn't give too much light so I quit the night riding. LOL!!

There are two of us wheelie chicks on 450's!!! You may have seen both of us! I have riddin with her on a motocross track before.

Sounds like the GD gatherings are tons of fun! I definitely want to make it out to one of the gatherings! When is the Sidexside weekend? I love Havasu too!! I stay at Havasu Landing every Summer.

Which two guys? Should I be scared of those guys? LOL.
