I just ordered one for my bike. I got this one.

I saw an accessory that is a lock for the thightning wheel. My question is, should I get this? Do the come loose from the vibration of the quad? Here is what I'm talking about.

I had one of those on my quad, without the lock. The lock only keeps them from stealing the mount, they can still remove the GPS.
The mount worked great for my legend, add a band-aid, or tissue in your battery compartment, otherwise the battery loses contact.

Cool thanks. If that is all it's good for, I'm not even going to waste the $15 on it. Thanks for the battery tip too.

Once you get it mounted on your bike can you post up some pics of how is looks?
I am looking to get a mount for mine as well.
Thanks.

Sure. Just in case you want them quicker though, there are some posted already. I can't remember which topic it was but, I know a few people posted pictures. There are a few different options (as in companies) I choose this one for the adjustability. I figured it will give more if I roll. All the other ones are billet. They don't adjust at all.

A little off topic but...this mount looks high, for the better I think, I made a mount for my Rhino GPS, mounts on the right. But I had to mount my kid's on the left by the clutch. Is there electronics in the clutch area of Honda's 400ex?? I think maybe.
His radio cut out a lot. And no, wasn't because of the battery. We switched radios and his worked on my quad but my radio cut out on his.
I think maybe the electronics in the clutch area interferred with the radio.

My battery loses contact, what do you do with the band aid or the tissue, stuf them in the battery compartment to make the back close tighter?

The whole thing pivots and swivels around and locks in place wherever you place it.
I had mine laying right on the crossbar pad, over to to side.

From what I understand from previous topics, you want to put the tissue or bandaid between the batteries and cover. It makes things tight in there and keeps the batteries from working loose.

I resoldered one on a Magellan, but I had to cut the case open to do it.

I could have mounted it further out on the handle bars and made it sit lower but, I figured that would only make it have more vibration. I wanted to keep it as close to the center as possible.
