Hey Slap, we found this guy hanging around Zippy's truck yesterday monrning. He was very mellow, didn't mind at all when dmax picked him up to get pics and let Scat's son hold him so dmax could snap the shots. We wanted to make sure he didn't get run over so the kiddos released him near the telephone pole pile.

Good sized fellow! I've only seen one out there. He was 1/3rd that size. That was down in Gordons.

That Gecko was so cool. My son John had Mr Gecko hanging out with him most of the day. It was funny John had him on his shirt, hat and even had him chillin on his face. I didn't manage to have my camera out at all this weekend, but there were a few different people snapping shots...

that dude was not only hangin out by my truck but was UNDER the tent along with a baby Scorpion! holy crap was i skurrrrrrrrred...

I'm guessing allot of critters in the pound...since nobody was there previously. Good picture.

Just wait till you see the Other critter we found at the rear wheel of my truck Sunday afternoon...

A BIG lizard (at minimum of 8" long) was taking a snooze in the shade of my rear tire... Had the kids take a picture since I was trying to get my trailer loaded up.... Saddly I am not finding the pictures on Vicki's camera. So I don't know if they were deleted or just not gotten. John got him in a box so he could show off the newest critter hanging around in the Pound. Well maybe 5 minutes later came back telling me "Mom look, he's letting me hold him".. Sure enough my boy was standing at my trailer with this giant of a lizard.. Before I could get the camera John was off to show anyone that he could find... I know he let him go of course after informing me that Slappy would not be happy if he didn't take care of him and make sure he was safe.... My boy sure enjoyed the critters this weekend...

I heard a new nickname mentioned regarding tent alley.

Someone called it Hooterville.

I can only think of a few reasons for that one.
