:bounce: The 'Ol lady bought a Kawasaki KFX 400 and she's having a hard time keeping up with the Honda 400EX. Any body know who makes a good set of cams for it (new ones, not "regrinding" the stock ones). Also looking for any other race mods other than pipe, air filter, and cams. I guess she's ready to go faster. Thanks all!!!!!

biggrin.gif What ever you do, don't make it faster than your quad. I can see you around the camp fire now sad.gif Just go slower when she rides with you  That will keep her happy. Good luck

:bounce: If i can get her to go faster, graduate the boy up to the 400EX, finish the buggy, then maybe I can get another quad for her and keep the kawasaki for myself :black: Just maybe we can get the Hondavirus back again. :bounce:

Do you have a 440 kit on the EX or something? This might not sound like a big deal but put a 13 tooth front sprocket on the KFX. Much more fun.

:bounce: No 440 kit. A Hot cam, advance ignition key, filter, pipe, sprocket, and a home port and polish. Too much cash for the 440 kit and machine work, not sure if it gives the most bang for the buck. Can any body advise on the B for B on high compression pistons?????? I know they'll make more power but is there too much heat for air cooled quad in AZ???

droppin the sprocket on the kfx400 is your best bang for your buck, then do the airbox/pipe/muffler/jetting combo.... being water cooled makes for a definitly faster bike, keeps the fuel from pre detonating, makes for better running bike.
