Maybe I'm losing it but I don't think wash 28 was effected by the temporary closures. I seem to remember a map I used to have... I'll see if I can't dig that map out tomorrow, but I think the AMA starts interfering at more like wash 34-35.
Anybody else have a clearer idea?

The north east corner of the temporary closure came out at wash 42. I ran the closure line one day when the dunes were all chopped up. The new one should be further south. We were looking for "hatchet camp". Anybody ever been there?

Still unclear about boundries, I am looking at map # 11 of the recent adaptive management area plan (bs in my opinion), it shows the border paralelling the railroad tracks on the east side and intersecting from the west at about wash ????? #40+ ?????. that is my question. I realize the temp closures did not affect that particular area as far as camping is concerned, but I dont dune where I camp. LOOK FOWARD TO CLIMBING THE WALL SOON !!!! ( and I am not a hiker )
