When is your trip? I am in the process of going thru the permit process for selling firewood in Glamis. If your trip is soon I might be able to get you taken care of.
Hope we can help. Dune Safe.

I dealt with both of the firewood suppliers last year and was VERY disappointed with both of them. Here's a little tip for those who provide services to people.
1. Answer your phone.
2. If you can't answer it, at least call people back. Within a week, preferably. People need t obe able to count on a delivery, or make other arrangements.
3. Be honest about how much wood it is. 1 chord is NOT 1/2 a truckload.
4. Be consistent in your prices. Don't quote $110 on the phone then try and claim it was $130 when you get there 4 hours late and then expect another $20 tip.
5. Be punctual. People come out to the dunes to ride, not sit in camp for 10 hrs waiting for a truckload of wood to show up.
6. Don't expect a tip. Quote a price, and that should be it. I don't tip at McDonald's, and I don't expect to tip for firewood delivery.

Thanks for the tips. After seeing what vendors are charging now out there and hearing the horror stories I am looking forward to getting my permits in place.
Thanks again.
