I would go with skat trak extremes and the best place to get them is Rocky Mountain ATV they ship to your door for less than you can buy them for and no sales tax....

^^^^What he said "Rocky Mountain Atv. I run the haulers and love them. Just a bit harder to make tight turns.

Is your banshee stock, piped, or wild? I really liked my 8 paddle skat trak haulers on my piped 97 banshee but it wouldn't turn worth a crap. I was planning on trying sand skate 2's but I sold it.

It's piped and jetted by Alba. What difference would more/less paddles make?

more paddles is more bite and more traction but too much and you will bog your motor. the 8 paddles seem to be perfect for 2 strokes go with a straight paddle for better straight line traction and a V paddle to better turning. I really like the 8 paddle extremes from skat trak 20 10 10

If you are in Santee, try these local guys first.
Cycle Parts West in San Diego,
Daryl Smith Sand Tires in Lemon Grove
or CMC in Santee next to Carson Trailer and the Santee Drive-in.
Get a price for what you want from RMATV then shop it to them. I have bought from all 3 and got a better price than RMATV. Rick at CMC will match or beat any price in town.
If you are doing more duning and turning than straight drags I would recommend a V type paddle like the Skat Trac Edge.

Edge paddles are nice. They are a V paddle.

Sand Stars with about 3/8" chopped off the top of the paddle and the little inner mini paddles cut completly off. Way less drag, turns great, can actually slide now, and still plenty of hookup. I've put 800 miles on my Stars without getting a hole.

I have a pair of stu sand skate 2 and they were awesome on my piped banshee.
Joe at Fullerton Sand Tire can cut them to make them spin up easier too.

V's turn better than the haulers, the Haulers hook up better. Should be fine on your EX. People had loads of fun with straight paddles for years before the V's came out. You will have fun. Ride another quad with V paddles and see if you want to change.
