My brackets that hold the fan to the radiator broke last weekend. Has anybody experienced this? Is there a better way to fix them so it doesn't happen again?

YAMAHASPORT
Should have bought a PREDATOR  . Zip ties seemed to do the trick. Those Raptors all look alike, behind ME :bash:

That big trash talkin about Raptors sounds a little funny coming from a guy called YAMAHASPORT!!! I thought Polaris made the Predator. I guess it's a good thing the wife loaned you her bike. Otherwise you might have had to use some riding skill to keep up with us laugh.gif

Seriously, I'm looking for help here. Not a trash talking session. The zip ties were a temp. fix. I'll probably try to whip some new brackets up at work or maybe try to laser weld the stock ones.

The SPORT in YAMAHASPORT came from the wifes first bike, a Polaris Sport 400. Can you buy the brackets from Yamaha?

I'm sure the brackets can be bought from yamaha but they'll just break again. I'm going to fab my own out of tougher matl.
