I went with the Big Gun full race and a 190 dyno jet with a K&N filter and outerwear. I am also not running a lid on my air box. It did the trick. I have not seen very many pipe shoot outs for the ds but I have seen lots of these pipes out there. I think the only other one that I have seen that has matched the number of Big Guns might be the Alba pipe. Next would be the Yoshi slip ons.

I dont eve recall seeing any last season.

There is no better pipe for the DS than the CT or Graydon. They both use the same size head pipe as stock just tuck it in closer to the engine. You can get the same performence from the stock head pipe with a FMF slip on.

I run the Alba on my DS with 18 disk on the tip. The other pipe that works well is the Ron Wood. Wrench

well my friend got a CT full system and it came with 165 & 170 main jets. I putthe pipe on but have yet had a moment to see if the jetting is still on or if I need to go up. What size would you all recommend and what position on the clip?

thanks in advance,

Hey wet,

Loosen the hose clamps that hold the crab and boot to the motor. Spin the card around so you can see the bottom of the carb. Remove the four screws that hold the bowl on. replace jet and reverse order. I strongly recommnd that you replace the screws with some decent hex head screws as this will make it easier iin the future.

Check this site out for some ideas for jetting among other things.

Heres some instructions and pics on how to change the jet. THEY ARE FROM DYNO JET!!! So if you are using something other than Dynojet than dont use the jet sizes on that page.

Anytime Bro.

I hear the Yoshi does great on the DSs. That was my other choice of pipe for mine but I wanted the whole system and they wanted way to much for it.
