Moab has the edge now but only 23 of 85 have voted.

I agree Kevlar. But, if folks from the weste start voting, they could easily make Moab or Alpine Loop Colorado. The question is if the duners UTV / SxS can handle our terrain out here. J/K of course, and would love to have all of you out for our event. It's going to be a great time!

Too each his own, I look at it as any day of education for my child is more important than any play time of mine. 25cheers.gif

Well well Ramsfan, welcome to GD.com. welcome.gif

You are lucky you can go for that long. In my case my son's last day of school is the 8th, so he will be taking finals while I'm doing a little adult only R&R

I did my best setting up a vote for the dates, and this was the dates that most people voted on. I'm sorry it doesn't fit in your plans Middy, because we'd sure like for you to come.

Oh man, this sounds awesome! We were there last year at this time mtn biking and rafting the Colorado....HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!! It was well into the hundreds last year at that time.

We want to go back but are in the midst of planning a trip to Europe for that week...maybe I can get it postponed as I'm supposed to check on pricing and availability tomorrow booyah.gif

what ever happened to school being out in May? as for the education of my kids they all and I mean (5) get A's and maybe fall as low as b- during the year but the average is A so I can bear to take them out a couple of days early if I had need to, now if the were getting lower grades then I might rethink it but as of now A's which is something I didnt see much of when I was in school so I feel if the keep it up the deserve some rewards like this vacation they really want to go and see new places.

as for the temps there I believ it will be fine people go there all year round and I am ready for this rally due to all the sponsors and many different people that will be there it wil be awesome.

Things are starting to kick into high gear with the Rally, and I can't say enough how much I appreciate all of our committee member's hard work. This week has turned out to be a big success:

1) Mayday Industries - www.maydayindustries.com are donating first aid kits to all our trail guides and a large 100+ person trauma kit as well

2) Powertank - www.powertank.com is donating a couple of their new mini tank setups and some tire repair kits.

3) Side x Side Graphics - www.invisionpowersports.com are donating a sick looking rhino graphics kit

And, we have verbals from two major aftermarket vendors to be platinum sponsors which should be finalized next week. Stay tuned for the latest issues of Cartwheelin', Side x Side Action, and Toy Hauler Magazines with our ads. It's going to be a great event, and we couldn't do it without the unbelievable level of help we're receiving from everyone. Thank you,

The cabins, as Scott said, are booked, but if you'd like one there's plenty of room still available at Moab Valley RV. Ask for Jessica (435) 259-4469 It's just down the road from Archview.

Chris

Hey folks,

I know I've said this before, but it's very important that if you intend to be at the Rally that you get your reservations setup at Archview Resort or Moab Valley RV Resort. The PRCA Rodeo is in town the same weekend, and I just got a message from one of our sponsors that the hotel rooms are few and far between. http://www.discovermoab.com/calendar.htm

If you're bringing an RV or plan to tent camp, call Archview @ 800-813-6622 and leave a message for Kate indicating what you need, what date's you're planning to be there, and your contact information so she can call you back to confirm.

All of the cabins at Archview are already booked, so if you'd like a cabin, please call Jessica @ Moab Valley RV Resort at 435-259-4469. And, if when you call Archview the RV spots are booked, call Jessica for those as well. Here's a link to the campground information: http://www.utvrally.com/viewtopic.php?t=63 and here's the event registration page: http://www.utvrally.com/viewtopic.php?t=101

Would this be considered spam?

Hello folks,

Stuff is really getting exciting at http://www.utvrally.com , and we hope you can join us at Moab. This week we've added two additional sponsors:

We're already nearing $13K worth of prizes, and it's growing every week. In addition we've redesigned the main page to make navigating the site a little easier. If you have any questions about the Rally, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hello everyone,

This past week has been very hectic, in a good way. We've had some serious additions to our quickly growing list of sponsors, such as:

Yamaha
ATV Television
ATV Illustrated Television
Legend Air Suspension
Seizmik (aka Kart Accessories)
Elka Suspension
Bikeman Performance
Ramsey Winch
Pro Armor
PCI Radios
Vector Manufacturing
Rock Hard ATV
Cliffhanger Rentals
Acro Lights
Arizona Sports Center

This puts us at 3 television shows with over 55 million viewers, not to mention the latest issues in Cartwheelin', Side x Side Action, and Toy Hauler Magazine's full page ads. On top of that, Seizmik and Elka Suspension were nice enough to put some posters up at their booths at the Dealer Expo this past weekend.

We're expecting this to be the largest, highest profile UTV specific event in 2007. Next year, we're planning to do 3-4 events nationwide, so if this year's timing or location doesn't fit well with your schedule, come join us anyway so we can get your input on next year's locations.

Please keep in mind that registration ends on April 30th, and cabins and rv spots are booking up fast. It's going to be a lot of fun, and we hope you can join us. If you have any questions about the Rally, please don't hesitate to email us at chris@utvrally.com

Chris
ravencr
But, if you’re ready to register, please go here: http://www.utvrally.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57

Hello everyone,

Things are really shaping up for our first Rally in Moab. Here are a few updates:

- Raffle Prizes are nearing $30K: http://www.utvrally.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=17

- The Black Hills UTV Rally is going to be held on Sept. 1-3rd, 2007. For more details, please go here: http://www.utvrally.com/forum/showthread.php?t=186

- If you've already registered for a place to stay and for the Rally, thank you. If you haven't, please go here to register: http://www.utvrally.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57

THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO THE DAY OF THE EVENT! BUT, T-SHIRTS WILL BE MAILED TO THOSE THAT REGISTER AFTER OUR T-SHIRT DEADLINE WITH AN ADDITIONAL $5 COST FOR SHIPPING. IN ADDITION, THERE'S A CHANCE THAT THE DINNER ON SATURDAY NIGHT WILL BE LIMITED TO FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE(MEANING PRE-REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS FIRST). After talking with numerous people that conveyed that April 30th was too soon for the cutoff, we've extended it to accommodate those folks.

- Archview is booked (RV & Cabins, tent sites still available) and Moab Valley RV Resort is booking up fast. The PRCA Rodeo is in town the same weekend, so if you're thinking about reserving your spot late in the game, I'd reconsider because you may not have a place to sleep. smile.gif Moab Valley's information is here: http://www.utvrally.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27

- If you have already registered, please make sure you follow the instructions here to get your OHV permit: http://www.utvrally.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54

- Last, we've added a Buy-Sell-Trade section to the forum. Please be descriptive and include pictures & prices if you can. It should be a good way to find out what people can bring to the Rallies, instead of having to ship stuff, if desired.

That's it for now. Stay tuned for more details soon.
