Can someone tell me the widest pad.... off gecko... wide meaning from the rd... to the dunes... ?

I guess that depends on how you are looking at the pad.
They cleaned them all off too.

They fixed the parts on the ends that had deteriorated over the years, lengthened some (along geckp road... not towards the dunes), and they added new pads.
Highly unlikely you'll see pads stretching any further towards the dunes... within x feet of the road they can "maintain" without going through all of the enviromental impact hooha... after that point though they'd have to go through all of the red tape
