You plan on riding it in the trails?? Why would someone want more bottom end in the dunes?? Especially as wide open as Glamis. Stick with twin carbs and pin it!

So go down a tooth or two on the front sprocket, or up 3-5 on the back(or a combination of the 2) and call it good. LRD has done extensive dyno and real-world testing on all the various combos of carbs and still recommend the dual carb set-up.

You can never have enough bottom end in the dunes!

I think you got it backwards, you can never have too much top end!! You ride around at half throttle all day??!

Half the riding out there is racing. Either the hills or the drags. It's nice to start off fast.

Thats what the throttle is for.. If you arent starting fast enough, give it more gas. :burn:

Funny sh!t. I just think bottom is good. I'm not exactly a gearhead. I don't know about carbs. I don't have the money for 2 stroke oil much less new carbs.

I see what your saying(took a yoga class). I was referring to where the power was in the engine rpm range, not what gear you were riding in. Thats why the gearing is so important. You can let the engine work the most in the range where it makes the most power. Bottoms allright, just not all its crapped up to be. Especially on a banshee. Let that sucker wail!! Thats what they were built for anyway.

Twin carbs is for the big bore banshee's that sit at the hill or drags all day long going in a straight line , For some thats fun personaly I like to dune . The reason I like the 2-1 set up is the lack of hesitation for the power to come on you know that banshee hit .I have a more manageble power band .When I need power I don't have't to wait for it it's right there ! And riding in the wide open spaces of Glamis when a whitch's eye or drop off magicly appear in front of me I have instantpower
And Shane-O stop spending all your money on yoga classes buy a toy get a gas card and come to where the big boy's play in the sand.
