The Government gives grants to employ environmentalists. Do enviro people really care for the land, or is it strictly easy money, and a business. Protecting lands and such is a business...isn't it Blue@#$.... kinda like the 100 million given over the last decade to preserve the desert tortiose. Not to mention all the closures of off road, cattle ranchers, etc.
Yet, here we sit today no better educated, no better off.
And the California Desert Tortoise???
Nobody knows if it is expanding or shrinking... the Enviro's claim it is still going extinct.
Guess they need more money from us taxpayers....

This is what makes me thoroughly disgusted with enviro's... they care for their own personal causes and profit....not for the things they protect.

Last week I was in Pismo..(the week prior to the 4th) and at the end of the beach was this "enviro nazi". I stopped my bike and says, eh, whats up? Ya stuck???
He replies, no, I am ensuring you off roaders don't go past this closure sign, so I am keeping guard.
I says, really? People ignore the posting, what with all the cops here and all?
He says, no, but off roaders generally have no respect for the land.
I kinda shook my head, and said, mister, get your head outta yer ass. Look at this pigstye camp you got here. If you represent anything, I woulda guessed you were a hillbilly dirtbag. Even us off roaders don't litter like this. Pick up your trash jerkoff, before I go make a complaint to the ranger. You are a prime example of why people like me dont care for people like you. After seeing our beachs this weekend while on the three hour tour at 3 am; after every Mom, Dad, Aunt, Uncle and 15 kids had left it, I would say Glamis, Pismo, and any other area where the "evil" offroaders go would benefit from having such horrid people tress onto his land. It was disgusting and disturbing to think that people can be so lazy and irresponsiable to not be able to take out what they take in.

Jet you are absolutely correct. And everyone of those cans was overflowing to a point where you couldnt see the can! :shock:
There is no concept of pack it in and pack it out at the beach. I would think they should take all the cans away and let it pile up.
1 of 2 things will happen. People get smart and pack it out, or we lose our beaches.

Not to struggle with public land being lost but to teach people to carry it with you both ways!

People probably have some expectation that someone like the city or whatever governing authority would have regular trash pickup.

On the other hand, if the god damn thing is full don't just dump the shiot on the ground next to it.
