There is nothing more beautiful to see, than the smiling sunflowers of EPO, gracing Mother G. It was a day that saw an elite group come together; a bonding like no other. I witnessed the cheering, the laughter, the dedication, the competition, and the compassion between competitors that was stunning and wonderful. In the words of the Dune Squad, “An energy, will come at high speed, traveling in overdrive”, captures all of what happened this past weekend. Slappy, thank you for allowing me to put your idea and dream to play, it was an honor.

I know I am not as poetic as the Stickman is, so I will post the order from #20th to 1st as best I can.

Our #20 girl definitely had the best equitation, and was even voted to have the most penalty stops, but didn’t oblige. Horsepower finished a smiling last place, #20. Time: 5:54.35 with 1 penalty.

#19 has the strongest left leg in the business, and put FNG down during a late night leg wrestling contest. Raptorlicious finished 19th. Time: 5:27.25

Sand4Fun was all about her name, a whole lot of fun. Sand4Fun finished 18th. Time: 5:20.22

Our 17th place finisher looks much better in a skirt than her husband Bugsy, but don’t tell him that. Chiquita finished 17th. Time: 5:19.57

At first I thought she was going to kill somebody before the group even went out to the track; her bike wouldn’t start. We got it fired up and Zippy finished a strong 16th. Time: 5:18.10

Coming in 15th was Karmisa, who had no problem doing a night train with me on Friday night. Time: 5:13.00

The nerves were getting to our little lady in the morning, but she came on strong and had a great time. Katie finished 14th. Time: 5:12.75

Just like her dad, this little lady can do some serious cooking, but on the track. PollyPocket finished 13th. Time: 5:08.03

With the fingernails of flash, this hot lady traveled the farthest for the event, and busted out an excellent time, even with a penalty. Fastlane finished 12th. Time: 5:07.31

Probably the hottest lady to wear grey and nearly busting into the top ten, Mestoy finished a strong 11th place. Time: 5:06.66

A veteran of GD.com and on a new ride, SocalHondaGirl almost broke into the 4 minute range. SCHG took a respectable 10th. Time: 5:02.35

When you look at this pic, you wonder why this lady isn’t racing the circuit. She drew the first blood at this EPO and was off the line first. FamilyofFour finished 9th. Time: 5:00.63

Dirt Girl was the first lady to pop into the 4 minute range, and finished a very strong 8th place. Sweet camo pants. Time: 4:57.07

This little lady put on a show with her two wheeled maneuvers that had all of us on our toes. She handled it no problem. Raptorwild finished 7th. Time: 4:50.58

WJ had a spectacular run, but for some reason she didn’t like the sign at the at the far west end of the course and decided to slam it and bust it in half. WJ finished 6th, with penalty. Time: 4:48.90

Probably the most stylish out of the group, and finally found time away from fighting fires, AFTERMARKET finished a strong 5th place. Time: 4:48.10

This little lady impressed me the most. She was strong and worked the bike like a pro. She’ll straight out kick your ass. Her smile throughout the day made things that much better. Scataloni finished 4th. Time: 4:47.25

The youngest in the group, and riding a 400ex, Gumpette showed up as an alternate, and put on a riding display of beauty. Gumpette finished 3rd. Time: 4:46.00

This lady was fighting a cold and not much sleep. She rode the best I’ve ever seen her ride, and handled her new 450 like she’d been riding it for years. Very impressive. Montana Girl finished 2nd. Time: 4:32.44

Coming from Oregon with her mom Fastlane, BlackHawk showed up and put on a riding clinic for all of us to see. She rode a well prepped and stylish YFZ450, and looked just as good riding it. Our Girls Girls Girls EPO Champion, BlackHawk. Time: 4:27:70

The ladies of EPO. Please give them a big hand, they put on a show that was the best I’ve ever seen. Ladies, thank you for blending class, camaraderie, and the true spirit of competition all into one.

The EVENT STIFFS are the ones who made this event happen so smoothly. They knew exactly what to do and when to do it. From the timers to the flaggers to the bathroom runners to the photographers, I couldn’t have done any of this without all of you. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You all are true veterans of the EPO’s.

SandDiva, we did our best to keep the competitors away from you and not to bug you; I hope we did ok.

Hell yeah! We all cheered each other on around the course too which I thought was awesome! Friday morning was awesome! I'm so glad I got to be a part of it. Watching Blackhawk tear up that track was awesome and she is definitely my idol! Not bad for a girl riding in tore up jeans and her K-Swiss!

All the girls were great! It was cool watching them cheer each other on (something rarely seen at guys EPO's). The comraderie was great! Papa Perry.. Thanks for cooking at the compound!! You rocked it! And especially SndSamplr who's hard work would not allow these events to happen!!

AWESOME JOB Ladies! And all the Stiffs too! I really wanted to attend this, but unfortunately couldn't due to a work function. But I was there is spirit! Thanks to my sista Scat for calling me at the beginning of the event, and giving methe lowdown that afternoon. Great pics too!!!!
