You should post this in the "quad tech", But it sound like you need a smaller main jet. It is located in the bottom of your carb. you will need to take the "bowl" off the bottom and you will see the main jet. Hope this helps.

You need to go one size smaller on the main jet. Don't go to lean with it because when the dune season comes around the air temp is cooler and the air is more dense so you will have to run a bigger jet.

How are you mixing your oil 20:1, 32:1 or 50:1. Also when was the last time you cleaned your airfilter?

this might sound stupid but make sure everything is one first off. and if you need help let meknow im in san diego area. close to lemon grove area. if you need some help doing it then i might be able to lend a hand.
