In memory of Jeff Parscale age 41 passed away of natural causes Dec. 22nd 2006. My son and best friend Jeff loved the dunes and started riding the dunes with me many years ago. I rode a LT-500 so His first bike was a LT-500 hopped up of course. He then went to the famous Banshee with the turbo road bike engine in which he thru a rod last season, so he bought a new Polaris to ride until we built a new motor for the banshee. He bought the bike changed the pipe, air cleaner and re-jetted the carb before riding it. Halloween he got the fox shocks set up perfect and had a very good 6 days riding it and 7 more good days Thanksgiving.
Jeff won the World championship twice in BMX, worked on a Pro Fuel funny car team,(Chuck Etchells racing) worked on Dave Sharp's fuel drag boat team and even a dirt car team and was currently working as a electrician. He loved camping at 13.5, riding the dunes and helping people at the dunes.
He also loved his custom truck, drag racing, and going to the Sand show.
My wife Diane and I are crying our eyes out while typing this. Rest in peace Jeff.
Once we get it together we will bring him back to 13.5 keep in touch.

Don, I just got your email. I am so, so very sorry to hear that Jeff passed away. It's good to hear that you and Jeff had such a close relationship and had the opportunity to do something together as father and son that you both loved. Those memories will live forever.
Jeff will be sorely missed in the BMX world as well. Jeff's name comes up often among us old bmx'ers and to a person everyone remembers Jeff as a great guy and a great racer. I am extremely pround to have had him as a teammate on Ultramax.
Don, You and your family did so much for me and my brother when we were young BMX racers and if there is anything I can do for you besides say a prayer for Jeff please, please let me kmow.

sorry for your loss

If you're interested I know of a great website to honor loved ones and share with others. It's called www.memory-of.com
My mother was only one month shy of 44 when she passed away and it's been a great way for friends and family to share how we are feeling. There are candles you can light or you can just leave messages. You can put music and lots of pictures on the website. it's very easy. Here is my mom's for reference www.kathleen-connellynicola.memory-of.com

I just saw this thread and I'm at a total loss!!
Jeff was a great guy, an incredibly positive influnece to everyone. He was the kind of guy who made you feel like you were brothers within 5 minutes. He could tell a great story because he lived a great story, going to the cooler to get another beer could turn into an adventure with him around!
There's a huge hole in my heart, and I'm crying too hard to type.
Please know my deepest condolences are with both of you, and I know he's up there somewhere, making millions of angels cry with laughter.
