Just picked up one yesterday, does anyone know what works and doesent work for mods out of the box.

I would go with Ron Wood headers and exhaust... ofcoarse you'll need an EFI controller.. (Dobeck).. and then you'll want to install a K&N and remove the air box lid...

I recently traded in myyfz450 for an 06 raptor, I installed the Dobeck EFi controller and the pro design/K&n filter with a white bros slip on pipe. all are excellent products although the pipe does not seem to bring out the good top end power but is very quite, you might also consider dropping a tooth on the front sprocket depending on youre riding style/terrain and THEN.....piston/cam/porting....dont forget the suspension mods...
it never ends, but can you ever have too much HP or too much travel?

Go to a 15 tooth front sprocket. Stock is 14.
