Kansas and Cheap Trick on New Years. I think 1976 or 77? Cheap Trick opened for Kansas and after the concert we were like WOW who was that that opened?

Anyway,, First Concert was 1968 with mah GF "Susie Q". It was the "Steve Miller Band" opening for Janice Joplin (Big Brother and the Holding Co.) at the Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles. It was total Chaos. I think the place held around 5 or 6 thousand people and Im telling you, eveyone was stoned beyond reality. Weed smoke was like a fog in the place and peeps selling drugs everywhere. The Cops were there, but they didnt seem to be arresting anyone. It was crazy. I was 14 as was Susie. A time to remember.

To be truthful, I have as good a time, everytime I go out camping with mah friends at Glamis. Eat,Ride,Eat more, party, Ride more, settle in for some Party and Dinner(usually BBQ). Sometimes nite-ride over the hills to Oldsmobile and watch them come up from the top. The days go by Quick. We usually camp out Gecko, Keyhole or Roadrunner.

the first cal jam..dont remenber what year it was..all i really remenber was the BIG water bottle fight..people threw water bottles at everyone..it was a blast..did any else go to this one??

1989..I was 18 my GF was 23...she took me to Chris Izaac!
It was like going to the movies...everyone stayed in there seats and was totally mellow!

my 1st concert was ratt opening for OZZY also ! my mom had an extra ticket and took me, I was 11 and i think it was 1983 at the Long Beach arena ! Even though I went with mom , all my friends were jeolous .

i think it was black sabbath at the orange show in s b when i was about 12 ( no wonder iam a little crazy lol )

Get this! Lighter Shade of Brown at Magic Mtn with my best friend Karen. I think we were seniors in high school 17.

I have a ton of favorites since then...buncha us girls seeing No Doubt at Glen Helen, U2 in Vegas, then :OMG: GUNS AND F'N ROSES! Was their first time playing in LA area in 15 years (KROQ's Inland Invasion), but Alice in Chains opened for them and they were just as good with their new singer. 2010's fav concert was Sublime at OC Fair with someone real special. I think a lot of times it's more the company that makes things beautiful then the actual activity. Then even better is when it's both.

On my own was probably Garbage opening for Smashing Pumpkins in '96 at SD Sports Arena, shortly followed by many visits to the second incarnation of Soma for Social D, Guttermouth, Blink, Bad Religion, Buck-O-Nine, Unwritten Law...

Tool in 2001. Haven't missed a Tool So Cal concert since.
