What do you need to hear linc ? That the LS-7 has more Horse power than the LS-6. I was up front with my dino test, to the wheels (321hp. and 514ft. lbs.) I beleive bent-trix made (390hp) to the wheels. The price of my turn key motor $6,750.00 that was w/ clucth and adapter plate, so after I spend that remaining $10,000 that it takes to have the hp. you get from the LS-7, I will see where I stand once again with a $100,000 sandrail.

Carnage- corpses, especially of those killed in battle. A massacre of F-5s, this is what I mean !!!

The story to be told is that Bent-trix LS-7, F-5 is pretty fast, and kicked MBD's butt, by 5 or 6 car legths, but if there was a race today MBD would WIN. (hehe.)

That Red F-5 didn't break, it cracked. One of the rear shock towers cracked yes "1 tube cracked" I told "sandtrix" it could have happened at Patton Valley after jumping into it 15 to 20 times wide open in 3rd gear grabbing 4th in the air and slaming over the huge whoops. SandTrix, very shocked (pun) to see the "small" crack. Monday Dale pulled 2 guys off projects and had the back of the car completely tore down the very same day. Tuesday repaired the car. Wednesday scheduled a painter to match and repaint the repaired area. Thursday the car is finished and ready for the dunes this weekend! I went to sandtrix and offered split the bill with them. I offered to pay the paint invoice. Dale said NO not a chance. I argued for several minutes about paying him (with check in hand) he absolutly refused to take it.
Taking care of a customer? You decide!

Sounds like a great builder to me!!

If you actually DROVE you car, and not just for the camera, you might take the chance of breaking something.....
Next time we are down there, lets hook up, I want to see if you can hang as we do a run from Freeway all the way to Patton..... without stopping.

By the way...that's great customer service. Those AZ builders seem to be very stand-up type of people, from what I know of them.

I bent an upper A arm when I hit a witches eye. Too much speed and looking at the next big bowl getting too excited.
No biggie. New arm is built and getting chromed. Will be back and ready to go next week.

Why bad mouth Sand Trix? I've heard that Dale has worked on your car before. In fact, didn't he replace the u-joint axles with CV's? If you dislike Sand Trix so much, what were you doing down there anyway?

Like the lincster said, every car can break. The point to make is both cars (linster & Bent trix) drove their cars back to camp an onto the trailer. No towing required.

As far as the Lincster is concerned. Do any of you out there think your ride would survive a 3rd gear 60+mph hit in a four foot witches eye? Somethings gotta give as they say.

Bent trix: More than likely, his car bottomed out hard before the suspension was properly set up. When Dale and I adjusted it, it was way out of whack. I don't think you'll see him having any more problems in that area.

You were both hidding the facts, and I wanted to hear it from you guys, about what really happened. I give you both the for finally spitting it out. But it also sounds like you both are claiming driver error, and thats what it sounds like. NO I Don't Think My car is UNBreakable, But if you think those F-5s will out handle MBD in the dunes, you are sadly misstaken.
