EPO11 "The Second Wind" 12-14-2007

Sponsored by Glamis' very own "Scorpion", Second Wind proved that anybody can win at any time.  The second race in the series,This field was the strongest field to date, and all the racers knew it.  With the heavy rains the weeks before, the track became deep rutted and tacky.  This made for a very rough track.  The best suspended buggies should do well.

- Mr. Scorpion -

When the days get warm, the freaks come out.
Glamis has many animals, and one of its more famous residents is the Scorpion.  To many of us, just seeing one gives us a cold shiver down our spines, and makes it hard to sleep at night when every time you get a tickle, you think its “MR. SCORPION READY TO STING.”    Glamis Scorpions are venomous, and will sting you, but nothing fatal.  However, be careful if you come in contact with one.  Glamis scorpions can grow as large as 8 inches head to tail. It is a good idea to wear shoes when walking in the sand; you never know who you might meet up with.

In the 2007/2008 season, this 2nd race would determine the next 10 to go to the GNC. The racing was amazing and by looking at their times it was extremely close.
