EPO Buggies are off-road vehicles, Sand Cars, Sand Rails.

These vehicles can range from relitevly inexpensive cars to well over 100,000 dollars. Each car is custom made to the owers tastes ranging from having bumping tunes to putting over 1000 h.p. to the ground. Somewhere in the middle of all that is an EPO Buggy.

The owners of these cars have endless pride and take their cars and their abilities very seriously. Constant upkeep and maintanence is the only way to keep these cars running. The owners beat on these cars with no remorse giving truth to the term "Drive it like you stole it"

The GlamisDunes' message board has one of the most comprehensive buggy sections available to the public. From Technical articles to general information regarding all the manufactures you can find what your looking for. Many of the Manufactures are sponsors of these sections and appreciate any feedback or are happy to answer any questions pertaining to their products.

Each car must first pass a saftey inspection. There are only 3 rules to pass this saftey inspection required by the event staff.

Driver must wear a helmet

5 Point Harness

Wrist restraints

 

Even though these 3 items are what you must have to pass, there are several other things to keep in mind to make your racing experience more enjoyful.

Make sure all nuts and bolts are tight.

Air Cleaners are clean.

Fluids are topped off including FUEL.

Tires inflated to desired pressure.

Patience and the want to put the smack down on all your friends!

Spending just a few hours making sure your car is ready could be the difference between finishing a race or getting a DNF (Did Not Finish).

Things happen out there - Do your part to make sure things don't happen to you.
