2008/2009 EPO series was EPIC.
Epo Quad -
The EPO Quad is not suggesting the use of a Quad ATV - Its from the original racers which ran Bikes, 3 Wheelers, Quads, a Buggy, and even a golf cart.
We have since moved the buggies in to their own class. As much as we would like to have everyone at one race, there is just way to much of a difference between the Buggies and the "Quads". This was evident at the first Grand National Championship. Although a bike won the race (Andy Harrington), the track was best suited for the cars and not the "Quads".
Safety is still the first and most important concept while at the EPO race. There are only a couple mandatory items each racer must have, but it is strongly suggested to have and use other equipment.

Helmet
Safety flag
Suggested Items:
Chest protector
Boots
Goggles
Gloves
The EPO is a long event so be prepared with plenty of water and snacks while you wait for your race. Pay attention to the Race Staff so your on time to start your race when your called. During your race pay attention to the Flaggers. If you see a red flag, STOP and return to the start/finish line. You will be allowed to restart your race. A yellow flag, you should continue your race but use Caution. Please be prepared to stay for the entire race. Our motto is we go out together and return together. All racers and staff are expected to help pick up cones and clean up the course prior to leaving.
Some tips from Racers:
- Your here to win - Get it all you got. Put the smack down on your friends and make them your beer bitch.
- Breathe - You will find out real quick how tired you can get if you hold your breath like many of us do.
- Relax your grip - Arm pump is no fun when you still have 1/2 the race to go.
- Air up your tires - Its much easier to let air out then to put it in out at the track.
- Top off Fuel and Fluids - As much as we love working on our bikes - its no fun when it prevents you from racing.
