I used to have a Rhino back when they were cool. Been out of the game for a while and jumped back in with a used 2016 Kawasaki Teryx4. It's pretty tricked out. Nothing that I need to add. However, it left me stranded with an intermittent electrical problem. Blew the 10 amp fuse for the ignition system. Replaced the fuse and blew again immediately. Had my friend tow me back. Pulled off a bunch of plastic and couldn't find anything obvious. Still blew fuses when replaced. Trailered home and the problem disappeared. The problem has reared its ugly head a couple of times now. Wiggling the wires behind the dash sometimes helps, so I'm thinking it's probably a short somewhere. …

I have a 21 x3 xrs rr and there is someone that wants to trade me a 21 x3 rc rr similar low mileage and build date I mainly ride in the dunes. What are the differances between the two besides the winch and under body shields, do they have lower gear ratios or thicker a-rms/trailing arms for rock crawling? The only reason i would consider trading is maybe resale value because the rc is a few grand more msrp but other than that i think the extra parts and weight from the rc would be useless in the dunes.

Planning to do my first oil change on the 2018 X3 Turbo R I bought last year. Any tips or tricks to avoid making a mess draining the oil? I see the videos on YouTube on using a funnel. Any reason to not just make the hole in the skid plate larger so the oil just drains straight out? I have a funnel with a long hose on it that makes adding oil easy so mainly looking to avoid a big mess draining. Thanks!

Got a set of shocks this weekend and looked at the PN#s and instantly new the rates. The #'s are all just in reverse orientation so being dyslexic finally came in handy These were on a Canam X3 2-seater Front top spring 05238 = 8" tall spring, 3" diameter, and 250lb rate Front bottom spring 003361 = 16", 3", 300lb That makes the front a 275lb 136lb rate till the cross-over hits and it's 300lb Rear top spring 002321 = 12", 3", 200lb Rear bottom spring 052361 = 16", 3", 250lb That makes the rear a 225lb 111lb till the cross-over hits and it's 250lb I did find it strange the front weight being higher then the rear.

Looking at either the 32 or 33” SS360HP set up for my bone stock X3 Maxx. Wondering if there would be any issues going to the 33 with the stock clutching? I would like some extra ground clearance.

Not me but.... my buddies all lost a lot of belts this weekend. Besides blowing out the clutches, pulling all the debris out, etc... what else can/should they do to remedy this? XP900 lost three belts - all BLOWN up shredded XP-turbo lost two - both stretched and lost cogs X3 lost one belt - blown shredded XX still banging on the stocker 2800 miles!! I've heard about belt alignment. Is there a tool (besides the driver) that helps with this. A straight edge doesn't seam like the right approach. When we had Rhino's we used to scotch brite the sheaves between belts to get the burnt rubber off, but I've never heard about that with the new setups. Tho…

As many know, I picked up a new 2021 Can Am X3 RR RC (rock crawl 195hp model) back in June. My prior X3 was totaled out due to some frame breakage. I have slowly gathering up parts for the new ride. Last week I picked up a set of S3 Powersports lower a-arms for a smoking deal. They were used for about 800 miles and was able to get them $200.00. They look pretty much brand new. I will likely order up the matching upper arms, although the stock arms were never a issue. I have my Super ATV arms from my prior car which I will put on the new car. Over the 4th of July weekend TMW was having a sale so I order their gusset kit, radius rod plate and a new bumper that fi…

So this thing is fun enough as a backup I wouldn't mind watching for a used set of wheels and tires. Car is a 2018 stock X3 with 172 horsepower. Running on stock bighorns the car is definitely fun in four-wheel drive and you can still get it to slide. I don't think I want to play with controllers or anything trying to bump the power in the motor. So what about a set of ss360 HPs in the rear and regular SS 360s in the front? I'm guessing 32 in? Just looking at those tires it looks like you would still have good wheel speed and the car can slide. Does anyone out there run this setup and horsepower in two-wheel drive only? Seems like at that power level four-wheel drive is b…

Never had the side by side down to the dunes. Buggy radiator is almost done but I want to go play. Going to run on the stock bighorns. 172 HP car. What tire pressure? I am guessing 8psi? And run in 4 wheel drive? Would think that is a must.

Just wanted to let people know that if they need their shocks done on their X3 - Tom Morris and Gary Fries at UTV Shocks are top notch and customer service is top notch as well. I had my shocks on my old X3 done by Tom and went right back to him when I got my new X3. His shock set up for the desert was perfect as he gave it to me. I have a few Glamis trips on the shocks and had to make adjustments as the dunes have a lot more g-outs. I ended up having to completely close up (stiffen) the high and low speed compression on the rear shocks and move the cross-over rings for the dunes. The group I ride with tend to go a little quicker than most SXS groups so with f…

Going to be calling some tune / clutch places tomorrow to order a tune to flash the ecu and do the clutch / waste gate etc. anything short of having to go to bigger injectors / engine mods and keeping it on 91 pump gas. I only ride out in the sand dunes in Glamis. That’s it. Nowhere else. Not using it to drag race on flats or up hills. Strictly just duning. I’m trying to keep up with some fast sand cars. Just looking to get more torque out of it to be able to wheelie it a bit off rollers / hills, and have it be more snappy. Looking at Whalen Speed, Evolution Powersports, IBEXX, and ???? 2 questions. 1. What are some good question…

So at the end of last season I was noticing my shocks fading or just weird ride conditions. Did some research and found one of my shocks showing oil leaking past two seals. One being the reservoir end cap with the rubber ball seal and the other being at the 90 from shock body to resi. After more research found @Schmidty's facebook/youtube videos. I knew of Schimdty in the past when I wanted to re-spring my Wildcat XX but ended up going with Bandit springs. Also I worked in Visalia, CA every Wednesday so I figured it would have been convenient. Well none of that worked out in the past sorry Schmidty... Now back to the nitrogen issues. I ordered from Schmidty off his w…

I’ve got a 2018 Wildcat XX that I picked up from a member on here, and was curious if there are any other Wildcat XX owners on here? Just wanted to see what everyone else has done to their Wildcat XX. Been locked down in the desert the last couple of years but since getting this car I’m looking forward to getting some sand trips back in the rotation. Need to get a set of sand tires, and have been really considering the SS360 setup. What do you guys think? Thanks for any help and suggestions.

Been busy trying to get the Wildcat back together for the upcoming season, and been doing some upgrades (hopefully preventive future issues) such as the Speed Water Pump,Speedwerx PTO. Curious if there was any Wildcat XX owners on here that maybe have done the Speed water pump on their Wildcat? I’ve got the original WP removed and ready to reassemble with the Speed parts, but curious if you guys swapped out everything IE…bearings, seals, mechanical seal, etc? I was trying to remove the mechanical seal but almost seems pressed in and didn’t want to damage anything trying to remove it. Thanks for any help!

Looks I broke the linkage arm to the rear stabilizer on my 2011 RZR 4 800. Can I remove it and run it for the rest of the weekend? I’ll replace it when I get home but we’re supposed to be here until Monday. Don’t want to lose it for the whole weekend.

Anyone have an RS1 with a turbo set up? I’m thinking about making an RS1 purchase in the future with plans for turbo and long travel kit. Just wondering if anyone has a set up like this and how crazy it is to drive! I saw one on RD last night that is bad azz and exactly what I’m looking for but not ready to pull the trigger. Wish I was because it’s a smoking deal!

STANDARD BLUE Wireless RF remote control with 7 quick color buttons. The advantage of the RF remote vs IR (infra red) others use is that the remote can be pointed in any direction to work. The IR style needs to be directly pointed at the whip in order to operate the whip. The controllers area built into the whip and only a power/ground wire is needed to run to the whip. Each whip has 20 different colors and 19 different modes. The modes can be slowed down and sped up via the remote control. There is also brightness controls on the whips. All the remotes are on the same frequency and one remote can operate 2 whips at the same time. BLUETOOTH WHIPS These w…

Not sure if it belongs here, just didn’t want to start topics in each of sandrail,SxS,and ATV. I did the search but mostly found people talking g 10’-12’ buggy whips. Wife wants to get a pair of LED whips for the Wildcat XX and wanted to get consensus of what everyone is running and happy with? -We don’t need the most Disco of light shows, maybe something that we could change per the group were running with or vibe we’re in. -Also the most reliable electrical connection -Some of the people in our group run the 5150 and the look nice and the magnetic mount is a nice option. Just be worried it would fall out though. Thanks for any info/suggestions!
