I've started cataloging all the images from before the site crashed and am making them available for members to re-download. You can browse the different images by clicking the appropriate links below. The first gallery contains uncategorized images from posts as well as users old avatars. If you remember your old member id, you should be able to find your avatar. Images are listed as follows "post-XXXX-YYYYYYYYYYYY.jpg" where the XXXX = your old member id. For example my old member number was 1354. I can then scroll through the list until I start seeing images that begin with post-1354- to know those are images I uploaded in a post. @Slappy @Esco @HairyJR Any way to add where a member is from below their avatar (instead of "topic starter) on posts like the old site? It really helps when selling / swapping parts with other members. My buddy Hairy Jr was discussing this over a beer at the fire / Miss this feature....very useful for a addict

I think in the photo thread it says something like "if you know what your member number is, I can sort & get your photos". I thought to be proactive I would look for my member number for this forum in case something like this happens again. So.......... What’s up with all these password protected chat rooms or whatever you call it. I’m browsing the unread content and then dozens of these password rooms show up. Annoying as hell!!!! How can I get the password or how can I make them not appear? Thanks

Before it was easier to scroll all the topics, was nice when you felt like you had a little Insomnia It seems a little harder to use, Just a Ask here but before when you hit the GD symbol it would go to the LATEST TOPICS, but now it goes to MOST RECENT on the Most Recent there is not allot of stuff to look at, Also If they can make the MOST RECENT be like the UNREAD CONTENT PAGE, if you go to unread content condensed, it makes it super easy to scroll to many topics, ON the topic section on the last setup, it had around 8 pages, but before that around 13 years ago, it had plethora of topics you could scroll on without leavi…

GD gets better every day - thanks for adding back latest topics .... the New site is working perfectly with my VPN too! I did hit the 20 picture limit a couple times - but Pics seems to load perfectly now with Chrome on Mac which did not before thanks again

I'd like to suggest a change to the "like" buttons. The current "like" is a blue heart and the "dislike" is a red thumbs down. Can we get "like" changed to a blue thumbs up, and add another button called "love" that is a red heart? This way like and dislike both use a thumb icon and we have something stronger than just like? Some of the posts I'd like to show that I love instead of just like. Is it possible? Thanks!

One of the things I used quite a bit was the "location" for members. especially when I was looking @ stuff in the fore sale area. if I saw Idaho...... I was not super interested. When they were talking about Laws or events or whatnot that was "down the road from them" it was nice to see what general location they were in. Is it easy to add that back in?

@fng great job so far! I noticed 2 things with "edit". 1. when I posted and saw I made a mistake, the three lines upper right corner was there with an "edit" option. I clicked it and poof web site error. 2. when I refreshed the post, the three lines upper right corner didn't have "edit"

Invision board has removed the scroll to top feature (don't ask me why). To get around this simply install the firefox extension "Scroll To Top" https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/scroll-to-top-webext/

Click the CHATBOX button in the lower right of your screen. For light theme it will be green, for dark theme it will be black (for this tutorial, I'm using the black theme) Clicking it will open up to any recent private conversations you've had. Click on the "Rooms" tab to switch from Conversations list to Rooms list Click on "Lobby", and the chatbox will open. Now click the \/ icon in the CHATBOX to minimize it Hope this helps!

You can change the way the forums look on the forums page with this quick how to. You may not have noticed the icons circled in red below. These change the way the forums will be laid out. The third one is very cool. This will put you the forums page into a topics page by allowing you to select which topics are displayed from which forums. From the example below, I'm selecting topics from "General Chat, ChEFFs Lounge, Whine and Cheese, and Politically Incorrect.
