Any opinions on the keystone Raptor might buy a new one.  Looks like the quality is pretty good to the other stuff I see up here in Mn but want to hear what everyone thinks!!

Though lots of people are, and HeadInjury will probably say I'm wrong...lol, I would not buy one manufactured during the last 18 months since this all started.

Too many horror stories online about very poorly built units literally coming apart at the seams.

If it's a "2021" though, it may have been built in 2019  🙂

And I know someone was talking about how great her unit is and blah blah blah - there isn't one manufacturer I don't see mentioned in the "oh crap, never even got to camp once and my unit is totaled" category...

Bought a 2021 423 and sold it 4 months later, the quality is an absolute joke on newer units. Walls were falling apart, a window completely fell out driving down the road etc. Their warranty is a joke.

I would buy an older unit personally

Most RV's are built the same. With very few exceptions. The exceptions are NOT CHEAP. You do get what you pay for in this industry.

From my experience and my personal opinion based on quality of components used, background of the manufacturer and lastly fit and finish.

Most RV's fit and finish are pretty much the same they've been for me in the last 20 years. The pandemic did not change the quality, but are almost virtually impossible to complete because of lack of parts and work force.

Get the RV that makes you happy! Don't care what others will think, unless that's a concern to you.

Buy as big as you can afford. Don't fall victim to the 3' rule. 3 years into it you want 3 more feet plus to accommodate you.

Lastly, this not a ROI in the form of CASH. The return on investment is the memories and heart aches that go along with the RV lifestyle.

YOU NEED 2 THNGS TO OWN AN RV....

A Tool Box and a sense of humor.

Good luck and enjoy!!

100%. I have owned many, tow behind, 5th wheel, Class C and Class A. All of them have the same issues. You are driving a house down the freeway and off road. It will have issues. Give it a good look over and prepare to fix yourself. If you like the floorplan, and it fits your budget, buy it...... They are all nice pieces of junk at the end of the day....lol....

Being a 13 foot garage the Resale is just not going to be there, very limited buyers,   If you can get a used one that is what i would do,  a new one will depreciate pretty heavy on this model,

Talk about depreciation. My buddy bought a Newmar King Aire for under 200k. The original owner paid 1mil +
