NIKAL
14 minutes ago, Sand Shark said: Nikal what did you think of the fix they came up with to address the steering? I found it Interesting, I’m not quite sure what was going on at the rack to begin with. In the past there was speculation that there was flex where the tie rod & rack mount together. But it was never confirmed, until now I guess? It was said a few months ago they reduced some of the PS flex hoses for solid hose and that reduced some of the feedback. But clearly stiffening up the rack was the ultimate fix. Robby admitted they were locked in and committed when designing & moving the inner pivots in so close and mounting the rack to the bulk head. Until I can see exactly what they did, I won’t really understand it. But it’s pretty awesome & humbling to know they spent all the effort and brought all those expert PS guys like Howe, Lee etc.. in to help them figure it out. I could see allot of companies just letting it go, or fixing in on the Gen 2 or Gen 3 models. Same could be said for the $250K door latch & alinement fix. That’s serious commitment to making it right the first time, especially with all the pressure to just get a car out in to the market.

Chummin
Saw the car Wednesday and man I did not like the door latches like that. Rear passengers would pay the price for sure. So happy they fixed that. surprised at a lot of little things that made me smile. seats - hands down one of the best for stock. Even my fat ass felt good in them. tilt wheel tilts the dash also. ride height - way higher than my can am. Wasn’t expecting that. belt housing cover - two clamps vs 14 effing useless screws. 3000 miles out of a set of tires. walked away feeling good about my deposit a long time ago. So many new options added sense then, my rep told me to go through them again and he will be calling in May.

The Hisun property in TX is huge.

This will end up just like his previous ventures. The reason why LOTD cant see the forest thru the trees is, he has no business sense and is only caught up in the hype of a possible "GAME CHANGER" and the engineering. Why do you think Polaris, Can Am, Honda ect dont design a UTV to this level? It just doesn't pencil! I sure hope all of you either get your car or your $$ back.....Just don't be a sheep! Are we allowed to go past 200?! The reason those manufacturers don’t design/build their cars to this level is because they truly don’t understand what their customers want. Sure, plenty of their customers want to cruise around the neighborhood and maybe hit a dirt road every now and then. However, there is a massive segment of the off-road community being overlooked. Why do you think the aftermarket performance industry has been thriving these past years.

Why do you think the aftermarket performance industry has been thriving these past years. This has always been the case. MFG build to the most popular segment that will buy their product. True sport models hitting their maximum potential will always need an outside shop, builder or parts supplier. Toys at that level are simply too specific in their use to meet needs of the masses. Not to mention liabilities that will follow when newbs wad up their shit. Welcome to @SRF2DRT

CampfiresNbrews
That is correct @John@Outfront Here is a chart of it on the initial dyno run without any adjustments. Made over their targeted numbers and actually had to detune it to get to the 225 and 300 hp numbers.

That’s probably what most people who have ridden in it are feeling when they say it’s fast. I wonder how the torque numbers and curve look on the new Polaris and Canams?? Not hating just curious. Think my Hayabusa powered car had about 90 ft. Pds. Of torque and 180 horsepower. Definitely needed more torque at slow speed. This thing should have plenty.

jginsandiego
For what it’s worth its firing both cylinders at the same time (not opposed) and dual injectors per cylinder. This is unlike anything I’ve ever seen in a side-by-side and possibly even in the Sandune custom application one off stuff.
