Another Reason To Avoid Pismo!

Recommended Posts

Gotta love the "what was he thinking" comments. I'm sure no one here has ever been stuck in the sand :sarcasm: Always easy to point out the obvious when it's all said and done, just saying :moof:

I hope someone besides all the geniuses were around to help the poor guy out.

That's not a normal stuck in the sand!

He could have been two wheel drive also. :dunno:

I hate that place! Me and Dirtywhiteboy went up to Pismo for a nice weekend get away with the wifes. I pulled in with the trailer thinking I was plenty far away from the beach and when we woke up the water was at full tide and only a few feet from the front door.

What was he thinking? :coocoo:

FYI that was my neighbor. They were gone on a nite ride and they tried to steal his truck. After getting it stuck the thieves abandoned the truck in the middle of the night.

Best excuse I can come up with :dunno:

AMEN!! ^^^^^^^ never try to get beach front, you're asking for trouble. I don't know the whole story behind this incident but had heard that he tried to turn around and got stuck and the tide started coming in and dug him in.

I don't thinkpeople realize how extremely low and high the tides get during a fill moon. Whether or not he made that mistake, that is just nuts, lol.

I've gone down to El Golfo/Santa Clara lot's of times and seen alot of nice trucks get stuck in bogs and then get washed out when the tide comes in. The tide there comes up really high....I have never seen anybody try to pull their trailer down there and get stuck though?? This poor guy that is an expensive lesson learned! I hope someone helped him out and there wasn't too much damage...I know I would've helped :dunno:
