They are oil but it's nothing to be afraid of and will out lass oil free and they go to 125psi. I have had an 8 gallon for well over 5 years. Whatever you get it will be made in China. Like LRS said The moho has one for the brakes and air bags. There should be an air chuck at the front. Gets to 135 psi quickly, is super quiet, and small and light enough to easily move around. I also take it to the dunes in my trailer.
