Manx Bodys

Recommended Posts

Most people know I build manx bodys, but I have never formally advertised them here.

I have about 6 different styles from the traditional short bodys to the full blown long travel bodys.

Here are some examples of body kits as well as complete cars.

The prices range from $1950 to $2500 depending on style.

All bodys include a new windshield.

All bodys come in any of the standard solid colors. (metalflake is a $500 option)

Most body kits take about 2 - 3 weeks to complete when ordered.

Please call if you have any questions. (760)744-8909 ask for Scott

bug shields makes them. His name is Dean Burdett.(714)854-0519. I beleive his shop is in Brea, right around the corner from were Buckshot used to be. If you take your frame to him, he will refit a new peice of glass for you.

I especially like the red one parked in the driveway next to the blue Vette. Oh wait, that's mine!

Nothing but good stuff to say about the MGM bodies, tough as nails!

any rolling chassis versions?

use to, but times have changed. I can put a rolling chassis together, but they are all custom one off's now. It all depends on what you want and how much you want to spend.

We were building "buggy in a box" packages with the a-arm mid-travel cars for around $18,500. I'm pretty sure I could do that again without to much trouble.

Kits included:

Body/windshield

DOM chassis (tabbed for front seats, belts, steering)

4130 chromolly suspension (18"front, 16" rear travel)

Fox 2.0 shocks w/hypercoils

Front and rear brakes (combo 2 piston front, microstub 4 piston rear)

PRP basic seat package

4 ea. PRP seat belts

steering rack and hardware (up to quick disconnect)

BTR or Method style wheels (non beadlock)

all terrain or mud terrain tires (30" front, 32" rear)

Head lights and taillights

No doner pan, powdercoat, drivetrain, plumbing, or electrical included.

Scott, when did you start doing radius roof LT Manx's? I REALLY like the red one but in green! Is that a peterbuilt or PSD chassis?

This but in green would be KILLER! A Lil EcoTec and a 091 would make a GREAT OW machine!

PSD built 2 of these for customers. I have used Peterbuilt as well. These were built a few years ago, I think!

Yes, they can be made street legal.

All the time. I mainly go to Ocotillo but have gone to Razor Rd and Cal City with it too. I have a set of sand tire but have not taken it their yet.
