What Phil Did was dumb but not as dumb as what the USGA is doing to the open.

The US Open.   Unlike any tournament. Tough, grueling, making par can win it, or even bogey.   Landing spots are smaller, fairways are harder to hit,  weather changes the course in minutes, you must be ready, and to win you must be perfect in all aspects of the game. It’s the US Open.  I love it.

As for Phil, 2 stroke penalty, probably did what all the players at +15 wanted to do.  It is frustrating, but it is for everybody...

I can’t wait for today.

So Phil slapped it while it was rolling. So what? He took his penalty and moved on. Everyone should move on too.

I got disqualified from a skins game pulling that stunt. Where was the media on that one? Oh, the shame! Pffff........

Oh, and winner is gonna come from Rose/Stenson pairing. Even par.

I enjoyed watching these guys suffer. Good job USGA. Even par winner should be how it is every week.

I agree although I really wanted to see him in an 18 hole playoff with Fleetwood tomorrow.
