Picked up a new project today

Recommended Posts

Looks awesome, that is going to be a fun car.

One thing, not sure if that middle horizontal bar at the back of the cage blocks the main pulley bolt on the engine.  To change out the timing belt you need to remove the center pulley with an impact.  Would hate to have to partially remove the engine to do an easy task.  Easy fix now, but it could just be the angle of the pics?

4 bolts and that rear cage section come right off. We talked about moving that bar so it would clear but ultimately it looked best where it is.

Been going slow but here are a few sheet metal updates. Just got the seats they were custom made 20" wide to better fit the car and the kids driving it. Front shocks switched to fox with adjusters, front brakes set up. I'm thinking a week and it'll be off to powder coat.
