Tell me someone honked the horn? Or at least zip tied his feet together? Or both?

Lost all the lugs, studs and eventually the wheel around a corner on my way home just now...barely kept it on the road...

say no to wheel spacers made of Aluminum... I guess the lugs lost torque from the dam spacer over time? Oval lugs in wheel tells me it took some time to come off...gash in asphalt is last pic from me driving on the rotor In 4wd out of traffic.

Drag racing I sheared 3 of 4 lug nuts at the line with spacers. Made it to the big end before #4 tapped out. Luckily, I had slowed to about 80 (130mph trap) by then.

Got it all put back together today, once I got inside I realized the e brake assembly was trashed also. somehow one of the broken pieces  of the stud was floating around inside while we were loading and unloading it from the rollback. Studs were 8.50 each and lugs were 3.50 each, 90.00 rotor,60.00 pads, 40.00 brake kit for e brake springs etc...what a pain... Few pics of the process. Still gotta order a new 20"wheel, and passenger side mirror! Easily another 500 to go and I still gotta repaint the fender flare

Got a phone call about a machine that had an engine problem customer said it wouldn't start. When I got there this is what it looked like;

IMG_2968.thumb.jpg.0d3a39c0249fcdcd63833b859e153843.jpgIMG_2955.thumb.jpg.a3f60ac1d8852898bfd97ca839758ec7.jpgIMG_2959.thumb.jpg.4b4f2341d11064a37b85012c3513d800.jpgIMG_2960.thumb.jpg.57fef578e0bc8e3cebc1ee78341e631b.jpgIMG_2962.thumb.jpg.7bef805b948a512889fb992158ae22e3.jpg

He got it stuck sitting on a pretty steep angle, got out and left it running and went to do something and came back and it had "died".

Turns out it was low on oil and it ran the sump dry and locked the engine up.

A lot harder and more expensive to unstuck them when they don't run. That is going to be an expensive mistake.

It looks like that machine has been sitting in that spot for awhile as there are no tracks

C17 Globemaster.   Probably the most uncomfortable plane Ive ever been a passenger on!   They slide seats in on racks and they are wayyy tighter than an airlines coach seats.   Also, there is no insulation whatsoever on it, so earplugs were a must.

I'm going to put your quote in my sig.

I've thought Nissan's design team was run by blind men (Cube and a few other atrocities come to mind) for quite a while, but to see a hardcore Nissan fanboi like you throw in the towel...

wow!

Lol. I worked on them for a while. Always interesting when you get onto one post mission to pull equipment and there are a bunch of dudes handcuffed to those chairs with hoods over their heads.

I'm a fan of those Nissan "X" cars from the 90s (240sx, 300zx, 200sx, etc). They lost their way starting in the early 2000s and went farther and farther downhill. Brand loyalty is nothing to me. Hell, considering a 1LE Camaro as my next ride...
