Travis Meeks is a genius, but drugs got the better of him. Who knows where he's at now.

Good shit there. Saw those guys with Metallica and Jerry Cantrell in Vegas back about 97 or 98. Some pretty damn hard rocking for an acoustic band. About four or five songs in to their set before you realized that there were no electric guitars. They just brought it, and rocked their asses off. Too bad they were so short lived. The remnants became Tantric which were also a very good band. Meeks was just an odd duck and went off the deep end it looks like.

The highlight of that show for me though was Chris DeGarmo who was touring with Cantrell at the time. Was/am a HUGE Queensryche fan and to me DeGarmo was QR.

A criminally underrated band from in the day. Rudy Sarzo's brother on guitar, Carlos Cuvazo's brother on bass. And Kelly Hansen's vocals were some of the best of the genre.
