Saw something on Instagram that they plan on being open for the start of the season. Looking forward to a Bloody Mary and Heart Attack Bowl.

To bad they can trade places with the Beach Store.

They've been done with the building for a while, but were still working on inspections and permit from the county last I heard. I'll be sure to chime in if I see  or hear that it opened. Looks great from the outside.

I'm friends with the owners son and he said it will be open.  If I hear of a grand-opening date I'll post it up.

They might not have it there but if you eat a heart attack bowl you will have plenty on the ride back to Glamis

Nice sign. When your selling a desired service, no need for any fancy marketing....lol.

Can I make it there from Glamis in Rhino? 1 day or 2?

Easy down sand highway, don't know what gas capacity is but not a hard drive

I camped at Gordons. My group says lets ride to Glamis, will we have enough gas? I say "If we cruise the sand highway in 5th". Left camp and its off to the races, my plan out

the window. They even shot straight into the dunes, no highway😒 Got to the washes and some of us gassed up, not me. Went back and some highway and some dunes. Only one

person ran out of gas. We were all on bikes and quads.

Good to hear. I wonder how the new all Vegan only menu will do with the dune crowd.

You can make it there, but I would take 2 days to do it :bag: !

That long of trek flat out is very hard on a rhino!

I would stage it in 2 mile increments and then hang out for about 4 hours to let is cool down! :lmao:

I have done it in mine, it was a work out...won't do it again!

Park at the GBS, now drive to gecko rd. via sand highway turn left and follow sand highway to the end f roadrunner turn around and go back to the GBS, You would be half way down to DD if you started at Gecko and the 78.  Unless you just want to burn a tank of gas there is no reason to drive down to DD via sand highway.
