It is kind of on the ballot to change it not too far down the road.....

On the ballot I believe it stated if you want to vote that sometime down the road  The time change could be a removed  by a 2/3 vote.

Its a prop  even if it passes the state legislators have to approve it; and they are already on record stating things like “i dont know a single person that wants this” and  “do we really want to be 4 hours behind new york”  you would think they would want more light in the evening  less people burning electricity

Yeah, x-1 is rough math. :bigrin

I love this time of year. Gets harder and harder to wake up at 4:30am when it’s 3 hours away from day time...

The days get rather short in the winter then you throw the time change on it and it's like a slap up side the head. At this point in my life I really don't care what time it is.

Anyone old enough to remember when the country stayed on DST for a whole year. It was the crying from parents back east about their kids walking to school in the dark that ended it. Now that kids don't walk to school and are driven by a parent we should go back to it.

We could be like India.  The whole country is on the same time zone, and it's on the half hour to the time zones in the rest of the world.  As of this post is was 6:38pm.

True our clocks remain the same but everybody around us change so now you have to remember who did what to there clocks. Then there is the TV sure you can look at the channel guide and it says the actual time things start but if your watching and it says today at 3pm Eastern do I still subtract 2 or is it 3 are we now mountain time? do I have to add an hour to pacific what about central ?

Sure is nice though on Fridays leaving town and you get to the dunes and it's not 7pm it's only 6pm  makes it so much easier to have a refreshing cocktail  hit the sack wake up and have plenty of time to get ready for the ride.....

Sucks on Sunday though when you think your ahead of the game and are rolling out of camp at 8:30 that makes it so your home unloaded and sitting on the couch by noon...........Until you get in the truck and it's sudden;y 9:30 and it will be closer to 2 before your in couch mode.

It's depressing actually. I liked getting home from work and having that little bit of daylight to do a few things at the house.

Plenty of day light right now to do stuff. No matter what a clock says the days are much shorter in the winter.
