Wow,

That is an amazing deal .. Looks like the smaller Gen 4 frame and with that motor it must dune really well.

Elwood,

There are two different size Gen 4 frames, one for the subi motor and a larger one for LS motors. I believe the larger one is 3" wider and about 4" longer.

Short frame is 120" wheelbase and long frame is 123" wheelbase. I don't ever recall hearing of any width difference. Pretty sure any given trans will take the same axle lengths regardless of engine. Meaning the trailing arms are in the same location. I could be wrong but have not heard of it.

Good info thanks.. I was trying to figure out how you can see the difference  in pics..

What gave it away for me was the curved tub of the back cage around the motor. If it was the longer frame then that would have been straight across.

No, that's not it.  That bar doesn't change the wheelbase at all.  You can see the difference in length in the rear seat area, where the legs of the passengers are.
