Wow, what a cool car. The design and attention to detail is incredible.

Is that a cutting brake on it?

Thanks! And yes, it has cutting brakes.

How exactly does the cutting brake work for a car like this, if you don’t mind me asking? I was always under the impression that cutting brakes would not work on direct drive cars, as the brake would just cut power to the whole drive train instead of just the one tire? Or do you just essentially use it as an ebrake?

That would be true on a direct drive one. But with the reverse box it acts as a differential.

Interesting, I was told the reverse box just switches the drive direction through internal gearing. I didn’t realize it actually acted like a differential. If that’s the case that’s pretty cool! Whatever the case, that’s a really sweet car!

Some might, but the jeffco acts as a differential. Thanks! It is a very well built car, it is actually designed as a dual sport if you throw some dirt tires on it.

Very cool car!. Buddy of mine here in Michigan is interested in it! Why the single chain setup vs the dual setup? Also, what are the perks of the tom pro alternator kit? I have a 4 seater with a hayabusa power plant and tom pro gear box.
