It was bada$$, I’m really happy with the car. It performed like a dream. We have a few loose ends to wrap up but all in all it was exactly what I hopped it would be. It’s good looking, fast, smooth, easy to drive, even easier to get in & out of overall a perfect car for me.

I really enjoyed the build, working with Don on this was a blast. The guys at CBM (Bruce & Chris) stepped up big time and got me squeezed into their crazy schedule last week.

My 14yo daughter was stocked to be the first passenger and spend the day in front seat (momma had dog emergency) .

Thanks everyone for the nice comments and if you see me out there come say hello.

Glad to see he’s building cars that are staying here in the US. There for a while it was like pulling teeth to get him to talk about a new build because he was backlogged with overseas clients.

Nice! Bet the low sides help visibility dropping down into a bowl as well.

nice looking build..

always amazed how scu can build a nice car when the shop looks like a disaster.

And if you went and clean up. They wouldn't be able to find anything! 😂

dbart the outside pics are at CBM

I've been in a lot shops and Don's is a mess but they work their butts off.  For a 2 man shop they put out some work. I'm really happy I went with SCU and I'd do it again without a second thought.

Thanks for all the nice comments, hope to have it in the sand this weekend

Just out of curiosity can you share how much the frame with arms cost. Also what is the wheelbase on your  car and length?

Don's chassis and arms are typically $25k but everything is negotiable depending on what you have them do or don't do.  The wheel base is 127" and the width is 99"

Stopped by SCU today for his little garage sale. Went in back and took a quick look at this car in person! It is bad ass!

Lost the bolt in the reverse lever (easy fix at camp), motor had a minor oil leak at the sending unit (took it back to CBM after the trip and they wasted no time getting it fixed), no nitrogen in front by-bass shocks (easy fix I started carrying nitrogen after Joe fab charged me $80 to charge 2 shocks), clutch slave needed another bleed and minor brake fluid leak at one front caliper (Don fixed last week). It was really minor stuff all things considered. I rushed Don at the end moving my trip up a week so the car had to go back for a few things to get powder coated and a few minor things finished off.  I'm really happy with the car and the build process with Don. I might need medication because I thought about selling it and starting another build.
