Yes ProAm, I’m not 100% sure of the exact hub but there are quite a few 1000+hp cars with Albins running the same hubs and hub failure is not an issue.

Edit: Talked to Don and there are micro stub, they are the best ones ProAm sells. He says his cars have great CV angles and there is no need for the mid-board. These hubs also a lot less expensive now & to service in the future. I think he has the motto of if it’s not broke don’t fix it.

They have been around a good while and on a lot of different cars including race cars. Allstar was another builder that used them. I switched my car over to them from  another brand that failed a lot. The bearing carrier will usually last 3 long hard busy season or more. I did recently had a set die with only a year on them. I think it might have been a torque issue as the set that I replaced them with had one listen up just a bit and need a quarter to half turn to get it back to spec. I'm hopping today when I check them they are within spec.

I'll try and PM you the torque sheet for them. I doubt it will be in your owners manual.

Congrats on the new car!

Sure.  I know if I walked into a shop wanting to spend 100k + on a build and saw the amount of crap on the floors and work benches I would walk out.  Just shows sloppiness and not careing. They pull it off though and build nice cars.

Car looks great, always love the white on black combos....so clean and pristine..

The shop looks like a shop to me :dunno:     this is metal fabrication, etc.     Not an operating room.

dbart the outside pics are at CBM

I've been in a lot shops and Don's is a mess but they work their butts off.  For a 2 man shop they put out some work. I'm really happy I went with SCU and I'd do it again without a second thought.

Thanks for all the nice comments, hope to have it in the sand this weekend

I am the same way, every tool is out of the box, on the floor, on every counter but at the end of the build its perfect. Then you have a guy like ZTfab who can do a complete rebuild of a car and his place looks like a operating room. Two way to achieve the same outcome I guess.

Looks amazing, what computer are you running?

Be interesting to see how shocks hold up, I want to do mine back, but many people say it will not hold up in the sand, though I am doing alot more leading

Congrats when is expected first run?

I'll bet those low sides are a dream.  I'm a small/nimble guy and I feel like a circus clown trying to slide into my car...…….
