Combo spindle to 5 lug

Recommended Posts

So I currently have front combo spindles and would like to make the wheels 5 wide. I would like to match all 4 wheels so that I can carry or at least have a spare.

Has anyone used these?

Are they easy to mount?

Any concerns I should be aware of?

Not converting the front to disc brakes since I don't even have rear disc brakes.

They mount the same as your wheel does now.

This.  The aluminum one will be lighter (obviously).  It's Latest Rage, which if you're local to Alpine can be picked up in person.

Just making sure there are people actually using these adapters.

The latest rage ones had issues with the holes being too big for readily available press in studs. Im sure you can find studs, just making you aware it was a problem in the past

Thanks for the info. Do you know if I can just weld some on even though the holes are big?

You cant weld steel studs on the aluminum hubs. Why not just do disk brakes?

Use the hubs from the disk brake kit for now. Hang on to the calipers and brackets if you ever want to add front brakes. And FWIW there are millions of cars on the road with front disks and rear drums

Steer clear of latest rage!  It's just cheap copies of the good stuff....your better off with some used stuff of this site!
