2005 American Eagle - Amazing Coach! SOLD, SOLD, SOLD!

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Bittersweet. Today we sold our dream coach but it's going to a great family of riders who appreciate the care and attention to detail we've put into it over the years. Congrats Matt and family!

Thanks again to Glamis Dunes for allowing us to post here!

Here's hoping to see you all in the dunes someday soon!

A sad day but we’re selling our 2005 American Eagle 40J and someone's going to get a sweet ride with a fully transferable, Good-Sam Extended Warranty!
She’s been amazing for the 8 years we’ve owned it. I've done lots of upgrades but it's time to care for our elderly parents and the toys have to go, for now

Fleetwood makes the Heritage, American Eagle and American Dream in a separate factory from their other great coaches like the Revolution, Providence, Discovery and others. Like Lexus and Toyota, these three premium American Coach lines are made with all the best materials, solid woods and upgraded technology and this Eagle is no joke! The coach is always at my house so if you don't see a pic or info you need just ask and I’ll get it to you. I'll drop more details at the bottom of this post.

42,000 meticulously maintained miles.

$92,500 get's it done, OR, we're also selling both the side-by-sides (RZR 800 and 2016 Yamaha YXZ1000R) shown at the bottom. $110k get's it all.

I don't get back to this sight enough so email me at sbrubicon@gmail.com or call 760-522-1218 with any questions. I'm in Carlsbad, CA. Thanks, Steve.

Thanks for the comments guys!

The NADA on this coach is well above $92,5, and worth every penny. I'll consider all offers but this is not a fire sale! My local RV place offered close to my asking price so they can put it on their consignment lot in the $130k range.

Thanks again!

That is absolutely one of the best for sale ads ever. Sorry to see that you need to put the toys up for sell and wish you luck.

Thank you, sir. The rack used to carry a KTM 990 Adventure but now hauls a Harley - Dyna Fat Bob.

Maybe I should start a sideline business of writing ads 😎. Thanks again for looking.

Nice Road Glide you got there!

Here's my Dyna.

Thank you my friend!

My turn to care for the parents. Will miss the sand but we'll be back in the saddle in a few years.

Cheers!

With three receivers on the hitch/rack, it will definitely hold it secure and keep it clean. Easy ramp loading as well :)

Bouya!

Friends - I really appreciate all the great comments! I put a lot of thought in to writing an ad that expresses how much we care about a rig that's given our family many great times!

Thinking through the challenges of financing an 05 coach, let's get creative.

Just a thought for now but I might consider $50k down and a 1 year note to pay in full, to the right person. I would write a simple but comprehensive agreement and hold the pink until paid in full, Interest would be negotiable based on my risk, your credit, etc., but does that spark anyone's interest?

Another thought for all is to take a second on your mortgage. Why? This qualifies as a second home if it's at your property. We've written off on our taxes every year as a second home.

Just trying to provide options.

Sure miss being out there with everyone!

Cheers!

Oh man.  This thing is waaaay too nice for you to be offering owner financing.  No way, no how.  This should sell quick for your asking price with the shape that it is in.  If it was 36’, my parents would be all over this. Too long for them.  Beautiful coach! GLWS.

Great options, but 2nd homes are not tax deductible anymore. Neither are mohome/trailers.

I know a guy that did his taxes yesterday and wrote all the interest off of his motorhome and house. The difference is you can only write off $10,000 in interest.

Great looking motorhome GLWTS.
