Muffler advice

Recommended Posts

Are there any other crossover mufflers besides Magnaflo?  Looking to do the “sideways” muffler exhaust with my LS. Anyone have pics, tips or tricks?

We don't need no stinking mufflers

the DD cars used a flow master and recapped then made it into a dual,

I would make my own like a flowmaster But I will never run any mufflers

Well, I’m needing some sort of a “spark arrestor” for my local dunes. Also need something so DNR cannot probe my exhaust to check for baffles...

My buddy did these with extra discs added for more flow and sound.

I was thinking about that also but, I have been told by numerous speed shops around my area that super traps rob a lot of horsepower.

The 2 into 1 mufflers aren't the best for horsepower either:

This is the X version, but having a perforated tube for a collector isn't the best for power.  Any way you can put small mufflers in the secondary right after the header collector or a merge directly before the muffler?

Exactly what I was thinking. Just like this setup in the pic above
