Looking for pictures of sandrail hoods with led light bar in it.

Recommended Posts

Since my buggy hasn't sold I will keep it and add some side panels, roof, hood and wing. I want something simple and not over the top.

I will post a picture of my buggy and a picture of what I would like it to look. The picture of this said hood does not have a led bar in it.

Hopefully the owner doesn't mind me posting the picture. I found it on the interweb.

If you can, please post pictures of your hood with built in led light bar.

I have been following LRS thread  and love what KATG did.

Thanks.

Bitchen car but there's no lightbar in your hood.

Thanks @sinverguenza.  I would have gone with a wider LED but the bulkhead is right there and limited the size Adam could use.

This is the car I saw Adam post that gave me the idea for mine.  Not sure who owns it.  Really wanted my LED to be about that wide.

KATG did one for @DeviantDuner. I couldn't find a pic of the front of his car but I'm sure he'll post one up. Tim?

Mine is hidden behind mesh

set Amber in there, and yes that baja designs light is bright enough to drive with that on solo.

I like how your car looks, LRS. I would also like the widest light bar also.

I like how it looks behind the mesh!!! I already have a light bar on the roof but wouldn't mind another. I would like it to be amber.

Thanks everyone for the pictures.

Quality light doesn’t need to be large, In dust conditions I can drive perfectly fine with Amber only ( if I recall it’s the new style onyx 9in light )

Just don’t mount to far up the hood, otherwise you’ll lose light by the hood blocking the down angle of lens

only pic I can find with Amber only  but it’s bright AF

Simple & not over the top would not have a light bar integrated into the hood.   Save the money from the tin work and just buy some high quality Baja Designs lights.  A couple/few  XL80's  mounted around your front push bar will do the trick.   Read here:

Understood, just looking for ideas. Thanks for the idea of buying a better quality light.
