FML 🤦🏻‍♂️ Tried to disassemble these 930’s and the PO welded them instead of using clips... Got one of them off and it just fell apart. Screw it, looks like I’m just going with 934’s. Is there a “Type 1” 934 stub axle kit? The trans I’m buying has 934 flanges on it already...

That is some backyard redneck shiznit right there........

You could cut the end of the axles and have them re-grooved for clips.

I need the Mendeola 2d. They come standard with the Deco Case from Weddle.

NO that is not the DECO, the DECO says DECO on the side LOL and has large bolts that go through the side like a Winters quick change, the deco looks very different

It is the RD4 case then later QSP made a new shift housing to delete the Cable setup, I personally did not like the cable setup in a rear engine but some did

the picture on the dolly is ours transaxle that is now getting all new gears just waiting on weddle to get the gears in, will have complete pics of the inside same as a XDC case

What are the dimensions? Not sure I’ll have the room for that...

I will get you some dimensions but the gear area is the same as the XDC and the DECO,  the only room savings is the older Mendi 2D case

I’m thinking that may be the way I’ll need to go is the traditional 2d Deco case style

Justin the Deco is the NON tradigital style the PBS, Deco and XDC are within .500 of gear carrier height, are you reading all the posts?  the case was a litter shorter after the diff but the top of the gear stack is the same as all the rest, the width is all the same they all use the same diff,  I am so confused why you think they are suck different sizes  the picture is from the old case that was not as strong in some years and is not made anymore

Your PBS case looks much wider... I no longer have a turbo car. My chassis is super small. Shoot me some more pics of it when you get a chance

it just looks wider because it is flat, where the other cases are skinny on the inner case but the gussets on the outside make it the same size,  if you look at the flanges it give a good idea of the width,

I will check but I think the buss box at the gear carrier is wider than a 2D

Why do you think you need 934's?

Jonesin I feel like you are all kinds of lost. If you have measured your car and feel that a standard old model 2d will fit then just pick any off the options Jalper suggested and you will be fine. As for 934's, there is absolutely no need to run 934's on a 2d trans IMHO. You will want a weak link and you don't want that to be your trans. A properly set up car can run 930's no problem for a long time with the right driving style. My suggestion is to do more homework and you will save tons of money and head ache.
