Looking for information on " Sand Pimp" 4 seat rail.

Recommended Posts

Ok folks, I am buying this 4 seat rail trying to find out some history on it( chassis builder mostly). Does anyone recognize it?

Looks A lot like a scorpion chassis... I agree with jtmoney, doesn’t look like a very desirable car

Right!

We all started somewhere.

It needs some love, no doubt about it. 99.9% sure it's a beam conversion. If it isn't, who ever designed the front end was high! But for the price I can't pass it up.

Looks like plenty of fun as long as it is priced correctly.  Some people around here think if its not a high dollar name brand car it is a pile of junk and should never be bought. Some of the funnest times I ever had in the desert were in cars like this. Enjoy the new ride

I'm picking it up for $2500. So if I don't fall in love ,I'm sure I can turn it.

I've spent more on less and had a blast! I think everyone should start with a simple car (VW) and learn the ropes of maintenance and duning before stepping up.

Well  a battery cable and here we are. I think it needs a throw out bearing.

That sound alone will be worth 2500 when you're ripping through the dunes! 🤘
